Androgyny: New Work by Sergei Isupov

Renowned as an accomplished technician and painter, Isupov has gained notoriety for his complex surrealist figures and imagery. The exhibition featured Isupov’s latest body of work, including twenty large-scale heads and numerous drawings. Hidden surrealist and dream-like vignettes appear on the bottoms of every piece, adding to the overall narrative of the represented character.

This book was published by Mesa Contemporary Arts in 2009 in conjunction with the NCECA conference.
