Etching

Learn how to etch metal using a variety of resists and create your own test pieces in copper and brass. After class, turn pieces into finished jewelry, tiles, and plaques or create patterned plates for making impressions in metal clay or with a rolling mill. Knowledge of basic metalworking techniques such as sawing and filing is helpful.
