Artwork
In addition to hands-on art activities offered at RAM's Wustum Museum, the SPARK! program series provides enriching art conversations in the galleries at RAM downtown. Below is just a sampling of poetry written as a group.
Hibiscus by the Isle of Hawaii
Hibiscus by the Isle of Hawaii
By the shores of Ichi Gummie
Lies the Skull of Mickey Rooney
Like he is eyeballing me
The BIG fish
Get out of my way
Colorful Bright Eyes
Cheerful, playful, sassy
You are a joy to be with
PRIMORDIAL Instinct!
My work is done, back to the depths
Deep waters, colorful rocks
I thought it was great
Needeep…needeep…needeep
Oh Bless Him!
On a mission
On a mission, to find hibiscus flowers in the Garden of Eden
Cats look happy
He looks like my cat at home, we have had him since he was a baby
A playful pause, before a mission to destroy
Quintessential color
Looks suspicious or curious
Don’t worry!
SPARK! Group Poem 2012

New Respect for a Cockroach
Cockroach in Disguise
Dressed like a red lady bug
You don't look that bad

At Rest on the Expressway
Blanche, very worn out
Is taking a needed break
From the long drive home
