Back to School with Therman Statom

This spring, the Racine Art Museum introduced internationally known glass artist, Therman Statom to over 200 students at Racine schools. Statom conducted a series of insightful and in-depth art workshops with second and fourth graders at Stephen Bull Fine Arts Elementary, and kindergarten through fifth grade at Janes Elementary. He also worked with the YMCA’s Young Leaders Academy and students from Walden III Middle and High School at the RAM’s Wustum Museum. In these workshops, students created artworks with Statom’s direction and encouragement for display in this exhibition Back to School with Therman Statom at Wustum Museum.
