Arline Fisch: Creatures from the Deep

September 3, 2011 - September 3, 2012

RAM commissioned internationally acclaimed jewelry artist Arline Fisch to create this exhibition for its Windows on Fifth Gallery. Creatures from the Deep is a shimmering street-side aquarium of jellyfish sculptures. Bringing her work to a grand scale, RAM's Windows showcase Arline's use of knitting and crocheting techniques to create these larger-than-life sea creatures made of wire.

After closing in Racine on July 26, 2009, Creatures from the Deep traveled to Mingei International Museum, San Diego, Bellevue Arts Museum, Bellevue, WA, Dane County Regional Airport, Madison, WI and will continue traveling to:

Museum of Craft + Design, San Francisco, CA
Through June 23, 2013
