Summer Art Camp: Keep’n It Green! | Ages 7–13

Summer camp girls working on sculpture

Kids Art Week 5, July 27–31
Monday – Friday   9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Using the earth as inspiration, make art that keeps our planet green and clean. Transform recycled and unconventional materials into artful ideas. Learn ways to renovate and convert by-products and waste into amazing artworks. Conventional art materials (clay, drawing, painting) will be also explored this week along with the art of alteration. Team projects and individual art challenges will make this week fun and exploratory.

By the end of this exciting week filled with creative discovery, campers will showcase their art at the annual student’s Gallery Night—all parents and family members are invited to view art created throughout the week on Friday at 4:00 pm.

Dress for mess and bring a lunch each day.

Fees: $132 Members  $165 Non-Members

Online registration closes three days before class begins.
Class is held at RAM’s Wustum Museum located at 2519 Northwestern Avenue, Racine.

Given the dynamic public health situation regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) and the importance of encouraging social distancing, Racine Art Museum (RAM) and RAM’s Wustum Museum of Fine Arts will temporarily be closed to the public until further notice. Due to this uncertainty, please RSVP if you are interested in this camp. You will be contacted if we should decide to hold summer art camps. Thank you for your understanding.
