All About Wustum
: Our Community Art Show
June 4 - August 13, 2016

Be part of Racine Art Museum's Community Art Exhibition!

The theme is: ALL ABOUT WUSTUM - your chance to share your memories and thoughts about the museum and the beautiful grounds. Since 1941, RAM’s Wustum Museum has played a pivotal role in establishing and fostering a strong artistic community for our region. In addition, the gorgeously planted and well-maintained grounds have served as a backdrop for all manner of special events, weddings, and contemplative personal moments.

The first exhibition to celebrate Wustum’s milestone 75th anniversary, All About Wustum: Our Community Art Show will feature works of art that use the museum’s special place in our community’s heart as inspiration. What are your memories of Wustum, its gardens, and its grounds? Special moments that happened there? How has Wustum cultivated your creativity during its decades of artful education, stunning exhibitions, and flowering trees?

See your art in your museum. Show us your beautiful memories of the museum and lovely moments in the gardens. If you have taken a class within the last five years at RAM's Wustum Museum, you are invited to enter one work of art. Or, sign up today for an art class or workshop to become eligible. RAM instructors, Racine Art Guild members, Racine school teachers, and museum staff are invited, too.  All competition entries must be received at the Racine Art Museum by 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 14.
