Close to Home: Local Artists from RAM's Collection

In celebration of RAM's 10th anniversary, the museum is dedicating 2013 to acknowledging the importance of the local community in building, maintaining, and growing an institution. Integral to the artistic climate of greater Racine, RAM’s Wustum Museum of Fine Arts has long supported the creative endeavors of the local community. Open August 30 through November 30,Close to Home: Local Artists from RAM’s Collection emphasizes artists closely connected to the Racine and Kenosha area. This is the latest in a long line of illuminating exhibitions at Wustum that focus on artists in the region and their relationship to the seminal art institutions of Racine Art Museum and Wustum.
