By Popular Demand: Top 5 Teapots at RAM

July 16, 2017 - January 21, 2018

In 1999, collector Donna Moog offered RAM a gift of over 250 teapots. The impact of the Moog collection cannot be understated as it offered a large body of work with diverse artists and styles represented. Since this gift, RAM has added over 200 teapots from various other donors, thereby establishing one of the largest public collections of contemporary artist-made teapots in the United States. Between January and June of 2017, the public was encouraged to vote for their favorite teapot out of the 61 on display in Variations on a Theme: Teapots from RAM’s Collection.

Here are your favorites––the Top 5 as selected by you, RAM’s visitors. The pieces are ranked in order of votes garnered.
