Full Steam Ahead 2024 is free to attend at RAM’s Wustum Museum\, 2519 Northwestern Avenue\, on Saturday\, August 10\, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. \nRelief printing is a process where a design is carved into wood\, or a similar material\, to make a protruding surface that can be inked and printed on paper or fabric. The process of printing relief cuts using a steamroller offers an over-the-top spectacle for both participants and viewers. The resulting new pieces will be available for purchase alongside a selection of the artists’ existing work. Look at some historic work and imagine yourself as part of the Olympic origin story in Ancient Greece. Take part in art activities that come from around the world as part of a global art exploration. The fun doesn’t end here though—campers will have creative group challenges throughout the week with a chance to win the bronze\, silver\, and gold in Olympic art.
