DESCRIPTION:Master Workshop with Tanya Crane: Repetitive Patterns in Enamel\nTanya Crane\nNorth I\, 2025\nCopper\, enamel\, sterling silver\, and brass\nCollection of the Artist\nPhotography: Courtesy of the Artist\nTwo Days\, Thursday\, August 20\, and Friday\, August 21\n9:00 am – 4:00 pm\n \nInstructor/Artist: Tanya Crane \nThis two-day workshop will introduce students to various techniques for creating patterns on enamel surfaces\, include creating handmade stencils\, layering store-bought stencils\, mark making using the sgraffito technique\, and repeating patterns with enamel ink and a quill pen. Students will experiment and learn about the properties of Thompson’s medium expansion enamels\, as well as a variety of overglaze brands\, firing temperatures\, and nuances. Students will make test tiles and have the opportunity to make a finished pendant with a mosaic pattern of their choice. This workshop is open to all levels. \nPlease bring a lunch each day. \nFees: $320 Members   $400 Non-Members\nAll supplies are included in class fee. \nRAM members with a Senior or Individual level membership are only eligible for discounts on their own class registrations—the member discount does not apply to family or friends unless you have a Family/Dual level membership or higher. Ineligible registrants will be required to pay the difference before the class begins. \n\nOnline registration closes four days before class begins.
