These pairings are curated based on various factors\, such as the types of work or food created by each participant and personal history between people. \nThis sensational event will bring together friends and supporters to celebrate the success and continued prosperity of the museum’s exhibition and education programs\, which are funded solely through the generosity of foundations\, corporations\, businesses\, and individuals. Proceeds from this event will support valuable programs at both museum campuses\, including SPARK! and RAM on the Road. Additionally\, event proceeds also support local artists and restaurants. Through these acquisitions\, the museum has assembled a vibrant record of Wisconsin photographers and their career developments. \nIn addition to experiencing 96 works in Wisconsin Photography 2024\, attendees will also receive an early preview of the new exhibition\, Nicole Acosta: HOOPS—Beyond the Aesthetic Lies the Story. This photography exhibition showcases a portion of the artist’s popular series\, The HOOPS Projects\, which tells stories of people of the global majority who value hoop earrings—touching on themes of reclamation\, power\, belonging\, and place.

The resulting new pieces will be available for purchase alongside a selection of the artists’ existing work. This outdoor concert on the grounds of RAM’s Charles A. Wustum Museum of Fine Arts\, 2519 Northwestern Avenue\, will take place on Thursday\, July 25. \nThe evening begins with the opening of the grounds at 5:00 pm\, where concertgoers are welcome to enter the grounds and set up their seating—attendees must bring their own lawn chairs or picnic blankets. The VersaTile Band kicks off the musical extravaganza at 6:00 pm\,  unleashing an infusion of rhythm and blues\, neo-soul\, and a dose of funk throughout their two-hour set. \nLibations will be available for sale throughout the event—including a selection of hand-crafted beer from Moor’s Brewing Company and two specialty cocktails courtesy of Tito’s Handmade Vodka: Red Lotus\, inspired by the beautiful gardens at RAM’s Wustum Museum\, and Smash Hit\, which is based on the extraordinary music that guests will hear throughout the gardens. \nThree food trucks will be on site to sell incredible eats throughout the night.
