DESCRIPTION:Studio Arts: Sensory Immersion! | Ages 7 – 13\nPhotography: RAM Education Staff\nKids Art Week 1: June 16–20\nMonday – Friday\, 9:00 am – 12:30 pm\, 1:00 – 4:30 pm\, or 9:00 am – 4:30 pm \nExplore the world of art through a multi-sensory approach. From the feel of paint on a brush to the texture of clay on your hands\, every moment is an opportunity to engage with art in new and interactive ways. In this class\, kids will experience a wide range of art forms—drawing\, painting\, sculpting\, collage\, and more—while exploring different textures\, colors\, and materials. Drawing inspiration from Awakening the Senses: Art that Invites Interaction\, gallery visits will serve as a starting point for creative expression and encouragement to discover how art can be experiences through sight\, touch\, smell\, and sound. \nChildren can participate in either morning or afternoon sessions\, or can sign up for the whole day to be fully immersed. Kids who are staying all day should bring a lunch and water bottle. \nMorning or Afternoon Sessions\nFees: $112 Members   $140 Non-Members \nAll Day\nFees: $184 Members   $230 Non-Members\nAll supplies are included in the class fees. \nRAM members with a Senior or Individual level membership are only eligible for discounts on their own class registrations—the member discount does not apply to eligible family unless you have a Family/Dual level membership or higher. Ineligible registrants will be required to pay the difference before the class begins. \nOnline registration closes four days before class begins. Light refreshments will be served. \nActivating the senses beyond sight alone\, the 26 works in Awakening the Senses encourage close connections through various combinations of touch\, sound\, and smell. Explore the galleries by feeling\, trying on\, adding to or subtracting from\, listening to\, or smelling works specifically created to awaken the senses. \nRacine Art Guild Juried Exhibition 2025 on Wustum’s second floor continues the legacy of a juried exhibition series that demonstrates the creativity of this local organization’s members. Juror Doug Singsen selected 62 works for this show that display an advanced understanding of art techniques and presentation.
