Fine Fellow Fedora

Artist and educator Russell T. Gordon was born in Pennsylvania and spent most of his career working in Canada after obtaining his MS and MFA degrees from University of Wisconsin-Madison in the late 1960s. Gordon favored subjects that were slightly fantastical with recognizable elements but no clear narrative. This collage reflects his bold used of color and his blending of detail with abstraction.
