Artist Statement
My Industrial Abstract Series was inspired by a concentrated study of post-war Abstract Expressionism. Through the lens of my camera, I visualize and compose abstract paintings with found fields of color, unique forms, and gestural surface marks.
At a glance, things appear one way on the surface, but I look for the stories hidden beneath.
