Works such as this, where thread is used like line, reflect not only Bozena Kaluga’s skills as a fiber artist but also her background in drawing. Kaluga received the UNESCO special award for drawing, studied at the Academy of Art in Poland, and received her graduate degree in fiber art and sculpture.
