Artist Bio
Malik Johnson, aka 99TheProducer, is a classically trained cellist, composer, and music producer based in Chicago. A Grammy-nominated artist, he has performed with the Matt Jones Orchestra and appeared on NPR’s Tiny Desk, while contributing to recordings by John Legend, Kirk Franklin, and Masego. His work blends classical training with R&B, hip-hop, gospel, and contemporary sounds.
