About the Artwork
Isaiah Zagar (1939–2026) was a Philadelphia-based artist renowned for his vibrant mosaic murals made from tile, mirror, glass, and found objects. In 2008, Zagar brought his signature mosaic style to Racine, creating two large-scale murals with community volunteers in the Uptown neighborhood.
