About the artwork.
Together, ShanZuo and DaHuang Zhou create the artistic duo known as the Zhou Brothers and have been collaborating for over 40 years. The brothers developed an abstract style that was different from what others were doing at the same time in China, as exemplified by BZ 1382 or Waterlily #15. Not limited by media, the Zhou Brothers experiment with various modes of making, including paintings, performances, and sculptures.
