Racine Art Guild Juried Exhibition 2025
June 11 – August 9, 2025
at RAM’s Wustum Museum
Racine Art Guild juried exhibitions demonstrate the creativity of this local organization’s members. The 62 works selected for this show display an advanced understanding of art techniques and presentation.
Juror for the 2025 exhibition was Doug Singsen, Associate Professor of Art History at the University of Wisconsin–Parkside. Singsen began teaching at Parkside in 2014 and received tenure in 2020. In addition to his teaching duties, in 2020, he began serving as Director of the General Education Program. Singsen’s research interests include American comics and graphic novels; interactions between mass culture, subcultures, and the avant-garde; activist art; and decolonizing the disciplines of art history and comics studies. In 2023, he received the Eisner Award for his scholarly work related to comics and graphic novels.
