In the MAD Loupe: Eleanor Moty’s Quiet Elegance
Bruce W. Pepich, RAM Executive Director and Curator of Collections, will participate in an upcoming virtual discussion as one of the essayists featured in the soon-to-be-released book Quiet Elegance: The Jewelry of Eleanor Moty—a 176-page artist monograph.
This special program—presented via Zoom by the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) in New York—will host a noteworthy group of panelists, including artist Eleanor Moty herself. She will offer a meaningful glimpse into her trailblazing work in photo etching and electroforming, as well as work that highlights the natural beauty of stones. Learn about her practice and get a sneak peek at this career-defining monograph before asking your questions during an interactive Q&A.
In the MAD Loupe is a series of talks hosted by Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) Associate Curator Barbara Paris Gifford, and is free for all MAD Members. Non-members can purchase tickets for $10. Participants will receive an email upon purchase that contains information on how to join the Zoom event.
