Racine and Vicinity Show 2021: All Media Juried Competition
June 16 – August 14, 2021
This juried exhibition showcases work from the studios of artists in Racine, Kenosha, and Walworth counties. All artists 18 or older living in these counties—as well as RAM Members living in or outside of the area—are invited to submit up to two works to the competition.
Juror for this year’s competition is Diana Bolander, who has been the curator at the Rah-West Art Museum in Manitowoc, Wisconsin since 2018. She as also server as curator at the Dennos Museum Center, Northwestern Michigan College and the Wright Museum of Art, Beloit College. Bolander has an MA in Arts Management from the University of Oregon and BA in History of Art and Studio Art from Michigan State University.
Racine and Vicinity Show offers an excellent opportunity for artists to exhibit their work in an accredited museum. In addition, this competition offers awards for exhibiting artists.
Entries must be dropped off at RAM’s Wustum Museum, 2519 Northwestern Avenue, Racine on Friday, April 9 or Saturday, April 10, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm along with completed entry form.
