Engaging business professionals and employees through the arts is key to fostering a desirable work environment, increasing efficiency and morale, and building the competitive advantage of a business.
Plan a Trip to Your HR Department
Did you know that you may be able to double the impact of your latest gift to the Racine Art Museum? Some employers offer to match donations made by their employees to their favorite charitable organizations. Many times these programs match dollar-for-dollar or a percentage. For instance, if you donate $500 through your workplace, that can easily become as much as $1,000 or more in support of exhibition and education programs here at RAM. For the museum, even a small pledge from an employee makes an impact when it is increased by the employer’s matching funds.
And speaking of small, check to see if your employer offers recurring payroll deductions for charitable contributions. Recurring payroll deductions allow you to spread your pledge over the course of a year, in smaller, more financially manageable amounts that are automatically deducted from your paycheck.
Taking advantage of these employee benefits may result in a higher level of RAM membership. RAM is pleased to provide members at the $125 level and above access to over 1,000 museums nationwide through reciprocal agreements. Benefits can include perks like free admission and discounts in museum stores and classes. All the memberships at RAM and their benefits are outlined on this page.
Whether it is an outright donation directly from you, a generous match from your employer, or an increase in your membership level, we are deeply grateful for your generosity and support of RAM’s mission to exhibit, collect, preserve, and educate in the contemporary visual arts.
