Artist Statement
During the unpredictable times of the pandemic, it became a challenge for we creatives to connect and collaborate. My first opportunity came when I was invited to photograph with models in a junkyard. The juxtaposition of glamourous models against the backdrop of decay, rust, and twisted metal was, for me, parallel to the mess we were all in and the few moments of closeness we were able to share.
