RAM Education staff has partnered with Racine Unified School District's Family Engagement Outreach Center to provide free hands-on art activities during a pre-holiday celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Day from 4:30 to 6:30 pm on Wednesday, January 11. Visit the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, 1134 Dr. Martin Luther King Drive, Racine, to craft a Paper Peace Dove Mobile inspired by King's famous, impactful speeches.
Join RAM for a free, family friendly hands-on art project from 1:00 to 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 7. View David R. Harper's zodiac-inspired sculptures in the RAM galleries, then create a paper lantern adorned with designs about astrology, the winter solstice, and the upcoming full moon.
Thanks to generous sponsorship from the Osborne and Scekic Family Foundation, visitors can enjoy free Racine Art Museum admission from noon to 4:00 pm on First Friday, January 6. There will not be a Free Family Hands-on Art Activity this day.
From 3:30 to 5:00 pm on Thursday, December 15, use watercolors to paint a holiday wreath inspired by the new Wustum exhibition, Watercolor Wisconsin 2022.
