For advanced metals learners! The studio will be open for working on current and new jewelry designs, with Jane to oversee and assist. All students must have taken jewelry classes before and be able to work independently.

Learn the traditional Polish art form of Wycinanki (papercutting) and create three different colorful works of art using cutting and layering techniques: Star, Tree of Life, and Polish Rooster. Patterns will be provided for the basic designs, and then participants will use their creativity to embellish their cut-outs with layers of colorful paper. A brief history and background of this art form will also be discussed. Creating Wycinanki is a great way to learn about Polish culture while keeping it alive today. No previous art experience required, all supplies are included.
