On Saturday, February 28, RAM will come alive to help celebrate Downtown Racine’s Chili Ice Walk—a free community event that features ice sculpting, free chili samples from local food vendors, and an engaging scavenger hunt.
From 1:00 to 4:00 pm, escape the cold and enjoy free museum admission and a series of art activations and experiences:
- Browse RAM’s newest exhibition, Cut It Out: Papercutting Traditions and Beyond.
- Join RAM Education Staff and use cut paper, flowers, and bug shapes on a template to create a silhouette—part of RAM’s series of Free Family Hands on Art Activities.
- Reveal an art mystery by completing a scavenger hunt in a special museum exhibition, Tanya Crane: Embodied Histories—Exploring the Legacy of African Jewelry and completing a scavenger hunt.
- Enjoy the sweet sounds of music throughout the galleries, courtesy of DJ Julian Gross.
