The Creative Crawl Continues—First Fridays All Year in 2025!
Join fellow art lovers and supporters on the first Friday of each month  throughout 2025 as Downtown Racine comes alive with creativity! Experience poetry, music, hands-on art activities, and more at multiple downtown locations—each with a unique art theme—as you explore the creative spirit of the area!

Pick up your Creative Crawl passports at various Downtown locations and get stamped. Turn in your completed cards to receive a fun prize!

Grab your cowboy hats and boots for September as RAM Goes Country—Boots, Bandanas, and Billy Goats.

Highlights include:

  • Free Racine Art Museum admission and extended hours from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm
  • Join RAM Education Staff for two make-and-take art activities, 4:00 – 8:00 pm. Design your own bandana and make a wooden boot magnet inspired by the painted wood constructions showcased in Collection Focus: Ron Isaacs.
  • Try your hand at pinning the beard on the billy goat.
  • Lasso some fun by seeing how many dogs you can find in the  Ulti-mutt Dog Hunt.
  • Check out the spur-tacular work of 2024–25 RAM Artist Fellowship Award recipient Jeff Baenen during a power carving wood demonstration, 4:00 – 8:00 pm.
  • Wrangle some fun across the way at Hotel Verdant with 2024 – 25 RAM Emerging Artist Award recipient Erin Krembs
  • It’s not his first rodeo—DJ Julian Gross will be spinning tunes in the gallery.

First Fridays at RAM are generously sponsored by the Osborne and Scekic Family Foundation.
