One of Duval-Carrié’s works, Lost at Sea, is on loan to RAM through August 27 for the exhibition, Blurry Boundaries: Contemporary Artists, Imagination, and the Spaces Between. This enormous two-dimensional landscape addresses the propaganda of paradise, responding to the way historical imagery sometimes diminished cultural identity.
