Free First Friday: August 2026

This month, RAM’s Free First Friday is getting jurassic with Hotel Verdant and artist Kelly Witte.

The artist’s dinosaur-themed print, More Power—currently on display in Handcrafted: RAM Community Art Show—is the inspiration for a t-rex-traordinary celebration of art and printing. Have a wild time exploring Hotel Verdant’s lobby and discovering a multitude of creatures. Then, meet Witte from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and learn about her process and the joy of printmaking.

Join a rawr-some community of artists when you add your handprint to Downtown Racine’s public art postcard. Then, enjoy some prehistoric tunes from DJ Julian Gross as you create, explore, and get inspired for a full day of printmaking fun at Full Steam Ahead—an annual printmaking extravaganza at RAM’s Wustum Museum on Saturday, August 8.
