Groov’n in the Garden 2024

RAM is pleased to collaborate with Mahogany Gallery, a Racine-based fine art gallery dedicated to educating, exhibiting, and exploring the work of artists of color, to present the second annual Groov’n in the Garden event. This outdoor concert on the grounds of RAM’s Charles A. Wustum Museum of Fine Arts, 2519 Northwestern Avenue, will take place on Thursday, July 25.

The evening begins with the opening of the grounds at 5:00 pm, where concertgoers are welcome to enter the grounds and set up their seating—attendees must bring their own lawn chairs or picnic blankets. The VersaTile Band kicks off the musical extravaganza at 6:00 pm,  unleashing an infusion of rhythm and blues, neo-soul, and a dose of funk throughout their two-hour set.

Libations will be available for sale throughout the event—including a selection of hand-crafted beer from Moor’s Brewing Company and two specialty cocktails courtesy of Tito’s Handmade Vodka: Red Lotus, inspired by the beautiful gardens at RAM’s Wustum Museum, and Smash Hit, which is based on the extraordinary music that guests will hear throughout the gardens.

Three food trucks will be on site to sell incredible eats throughout the night. Enjoy savory tacos, burritos, loaded nachos, and more from 911 Tacos; classic wraps and paninis from A&A Cafe; and authentic, hand-crafted Venezuelan cuisine from Don Arepas Cafe. Attendees may also bring their own food if they prefer.
