Groov’n in the Garden

RAM is pleased to collaborate with Mahogany Gallery, a Racine-based fine art gallery dedicated to educating, exhibiting, and exploring the work of artists of color, to present an outdoor live music performance on the grounds of RAM’s Charles A. Wustum Museum of Fine Arts, 2519 Northwestern Avenue, Racine. Brace yourself for an unforgettable evening of NeoSoul, R+B, a dose of funk, and more, featuring a curated collection of local musicians.

The evening begins with the opening of the grounds at 5:00 pm to the mix of beats from DJs Fly vs. Fly performing in the background while concertgoers enter the grounds to set up their seating. Kicking off the musical extravaganza at 6:00 pm, the VersaTile Band will take the stage, unleashing an infusion of R&B, neo-soul, and a dose of funk. They will also feature guest musicians as a part of their dynamic two-hour set.

Adding to the evening, Groov’n in the Garden is excited to collaborate with local eateries for pre-ordered, self-pickup meal kits at Chit Chaat, Dragon Pit BBQ, Market on Main, SapSap, and TaejaVu’s on Main. Call the participating restaurants in advance to schedule pickup for their delectable dishes, otherwise you can choose from an on-site grill menu or bring your own basket of goodies while soaking in the vibes of soulful music.

Secure your spot with $20 early bird tickets via Eventbrite through Thursday, July 20. Afterward, tickets will be available for $25 online and at the door.
