Save the Date for SAVOUR 2021!

Saturday, September 25, 2021

SAVOUR is the Racine Art Museum’s annual art benefit, which showcases the diverse flavors of Racine area cuisine paired with art specially created by local artists. These pairings are offered in the form of experience packages—blending a tempting selection of art, food, and drink—available to bid on in an online auction.

In addition to support RAM, proceeds also support local artists, restaurants, and food venues. Participating artists receive a stipend and a split on proceeds from artwork sold, and participating restaurants and pop-up food venues receive compensations for their time and expenses.

In response to the current global pandemic, the museum decided to present the 2020 event entirely online. Experience packages were adjusted to accommodate groups of up to eight people—for small, intimate experiences where it was easy to follow COVID-19 safety guidelines. In addition, the museum hosted SAVOUR Live—a Facebook Live event presented by Camela Langendorf, RAM Board Member, and Tricia Blasko, RAM Curator of Education—which delved deeper into each SAVOUR experience package with artist and chef interviews, signature cocktail creation, live art-making, and more.

More information about the 2021 benefit will be available at a later date.
