The RAM Museum Store invites you to step into the past with stylish pottery from the last century. Featured for sale are retro selections by Abingdon, Royal Haeger, McCoy, Redwing, Roseville, and USA Art, from the 1930s to the 1950s.
Learn the basics of molding and shaping clay with your hands. Experiment with texture, colored slips, and a variety of tools to make functional and non-functional pieces out of slabs and coils.
Expand your skills and take them to the next level—throw larger vessels with more consistency, or perfect your regular forms. Raku kilns will be fired. This is a great class for those who have previously taken a potter’s wheel class and desire more experience.
Learn the foundations of creating a strong painting. Cover the basics of watercolor as a medium—and painting as a whole—while looking at nature to capture a realistic and surprising color palette. While this class will focus on landscapes, these teachings are applicable to any subject matter. Beginners welcome.

Calling artists and craftspeople of all ages to participate in The Art of AdOrnaments competition for handmade holiday ornaments, wrapped boxes, and decorated trees. Entries must be dropped off or shipped to arrive November 3–6 and November 10–13, Noon – 4:00 pm at the Racine Art Museum reception desk, 441 Main Street, along with completed entry form.
