SAVOUR 2024: 70s Chic—Glamour, Glitter, and Gold
Celebrating 50 Years of RAM Executive Director and Curator of Collections, Bruce W. Pepich
Saturday, September 28, 5:30 – 10:30 pm
at RAM’s Wustum Museum, 2519 Northwestern Avenue, Racine
SAVOUR 2024, the seventh edition of RAM’s annual fundraiser, takes place at RAM’s Wustum Museum on Saturday, September 28, 5:30 – 10:30 pm. This sensational event highlights the diverse flavors of local cuisine paired with art created by local artists. These pairings are curated based on various factors, such as the types of work or food created by each participant and personal history between people.
In addition to celebrating Racine’s visual and culinary arts, SAVOUR 2024 will also commemorate a milestone event—celebrating 50 years of RAM Executive Director and Curator of Collections Bruce W. Pepich. Since beginning work at Wustum in 1974, Pepich has worked diligently to support and further the museum’s mission to exhibit, collect, preserve, and educate in the contemporary visual arts. His many decades of leadership include impressive highlights, such as the construction of the Racine Art Museum in 2003, assembling of the largest collection of contemporary craft in the United States, and an induction into the American Craft Council College of Fellows. The theme of SAVOUR 2024 is an upscale homage to the decade in which he joined Wustum staff.
