Free art experiences for people with memory loss and their care partners. Developed to provide a stimulating, yet non-threatening atmosphere, these creative experiences encourage the person with memory loss to actively engage in the moment and leave with a feeling of accomplishment and worth.
Longing to visit Italy to take in the breathtaking sights? This workshop will inspire your next overseas trip to the Italian coasts and vineyards! Learn how to draw the structure of an architectural portal and paint with watercolor, utilizing a step-by-step approach.
Discover the basics of using acrylic paints—a forgiving art medium—as well as color mixing and compositional techniques. Fearless play is encouraged in this class, which focuses on portraiture and still lives.
Concentrated classes covering drawing for painting, color mixing, controlling values, and fundamental watercolor painting techniques. Learn to find one's subject and stay motivated in challenging times. Each class will provide gentle critique and/or private feedback, as well as a Q&A session. The instructor will also share links to online resources as well as a class community website to share work. Class will include suggested lessons offline. Return students may work on personal projects. All skill levels welcome.
