This duet will bring focus and candor to the true nature of Racine—a diverse mix of cultures and people. Two Important facets of the city’s uniqueness include the taste of Tasia White’s soulful food and the visual complexity of Jarvis Lawson’s art photography. Discover the depth and diversity of the melded flavors created by Tasia—inspired by her travel and experience of tasting profiles throughout the US—while understanding the eye of the artist, as Jarvis shares his own experiences and lifestyle brand through the lens of a camera.

Food and Photos: Bringing the World to Racine

Travel the world through the photographic lens of Jarvis Lawson, who will be on site to chat about his work and experiences. Tasia of TaejaVu’s on Main will prepare a one-of-a-kind meal, full of sultry soul. Each dish will be a journey through flavors and cultures, paired with an art photograph taken by globe-trotting Jarvis. The image will be brought to life through your taste buds making you feel as if you had been there. Let your eyes soak up the scene while your mouth tastes the sensation. Jarvis will also take out-of-this-world candids of your group for an online album of images available after the event. As an added bonus, enjoy a live musical treat with the jazz band, KWB Quartet.
