Celebrate the museum’s annual sale of marvelous second-hand goods during downtown Racine’s Party on the Pavement on Saturday, September 17. All proceeds benefit RAM’s exhibition and education programming, including SPARK!, RAM on the Road, and more! Bring your gently used goods to RAM from noon to 4:00 pm each Wednesday through Saturday between August 17 and September 10.
Racine Art Museum and RAM’s Wustum Museum invites artists to investigate the zodiac for the museums’ third Virtual Community Art Show. A few of the many ways to participate include: using the animals/beings associated with the signs for inspiration, creating a personal astrological system or system of signs, creating a symbol that reflects individual personalities, using animal imagery to reflect bigger ideas, creating personal Tarot card art, artistically charting personal signs with the sun, moon, and rising signs considered, and creating art related to the star or constellations.
Any artist who is a resident of (or maintains a residence in) Wisconsin and is 18 years of age or older may submit work to this year's exhibition at RAM's Wustum Museum of Fine Arts.

RAM is proud to host an artist talk and book signing with metalsmith Eleanor Moty on First Friday, September 2, for the artist monograph, Quiet Elegance: The Jewelry of Eleanor Moty. Admission is free and open to the public.

SAVOUR is the Racine Art Museum’s annual art fundraiser, which showcases the diverse flavors of Racine area cuisine paired with art specially created by local artists. All proceeds help support RAM exhibitions, visual art education for children and adults of all ages and abilities, and care of the museum’s nationally recognized permanent collection.
This class is foundations-based, dealing with the basic principles of painting. Students will complete exercises that explore composition, value, color, line, and texture while working from direct observation. The overarching goal is to equip the student with a basic knowledge of painting and demystify the process—instilling confidence to tackle independent projects.
Create a canvas painting inspired by the warm colors of autumn. Start by learning how to compose an intriguing scene, then paint the details to create your own masterpiece.
